"Playing this game is like dating a toxic, narcissistic, gold-digging partner. Literally. It starts great. The game is a banger, and you are having an absolute blast playing it. But after a while, something starts to feel off, like something is missing. Later, no matter how much time, money, or energy you spend, the game will always make you feel like it’s not enough . It seems like it doesn’t respect your boundaries and doesn’t accept that you might have a life or other games to play outside of it. So after you put in a ridiculous amount of time and money, you understand that it is not you who is the problem — this is a fundamental game design. You start to realize that you don’t even like the game that much anymore. You feel obliged to play it. It’s old, and the community inside it is awful and toxic. People you play the game with might disagree and say you exaggerate, but you realize that they are trapped and don’t play other games to compare it to. And then the healing starts. You play it less and less, or even uninstall it. And that is when the love-bombing begins! New, sometimes long-awaited changes and updates, big bonuses for returning players, lucrative events. You might tell yourself that the game wasn’t that bad, and that maybe you were too invested in it. And then the vicious cycle begins again."

"The people got worse too. Or maybe I just forgot what it was like to begin with. It's low quality and or bot only match making right into tier 7, people will tell you there's skill locks, but you can be in the highest echelon and it be that way. Anything that has a 21+ hour grind until you even approach a decent game is not worth your time. For the $714+ gross you can make in that same time frame you can buy a decent game. Great to keep your kids occupied though. They'll love the hold W atomosphere. Did the AI get worse..... it's going to take you an age to get to play with real people. The bots were always garbage but rn you can have three of em at the enemy base and they won't stay in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cap point, mean while the enemy bots spot through buildings and will pile on a cap. Returning player? It looks cool and updated, new bro? Don't bother."

"This game is VERY aggravating. Unless you want to take the time to memorize the maps and practice countless hours trying to perfect an area, you will get killed again and again. I spent 151 hours and that doesn't even scratch the surface of what it takes to I guess not get killed repeatedly and quickly. You make one wrong move, get spotted and immediately get hit by 5 other people that sit there camping a bush waiting for something to come along. Even if you have a good game, what does that mean? It means you hid next to a rock or a building with a bush next to it then, shoot hide shoot hide shoot hide. I just don't have hours EVERY day to practice and memorize the maps. "Good Players" will sit there behind a wall and spend all game poking out shooting and then hiding. What fun is that. Uninstalled, this game is dead to me."

"What is it? This is Arena type game. Hero: tanks Modes: - 14vs14 Random. (kill all enemy / catch the flag) (default mode: always available) - Steel hunter (One against all) (Season) - Onslaught 6x6 semi-Ranked (Season) - Frontline. big map with objectives (Season) - and more MAPS: The fights are between tanks on maps representing real terrain. Depending on the mode there are dozen or less maps that rotate semi-randomly. Match time: for default mode 14 minutes Try it, Why not, it's FREE. WARNING: This is free2play game and as every free2play model it cost much more when you'd spend on any paid project. Just connect your wallet and the spending is unlimited. Is it GATCHA? No. you can not buy OP/META here. 1. You can speed up your progress by converting your real money by releasing EXP you earned on the tank to free pool. Still need to earn it first. 2. you can buy boosters. 3. You can buy some tanks directly. Standard (always available) options are crap. Buy at events (like New Year) when you have more interesting options. 4. Skins But: As this is Arena game it has no real progress. Swapping 1 lvl tank for 2 level tank you do not get anything in terms of random battles. Exception exist though: like Frontline mode is available only for 8(8-9)lvl. Personal tasks are from lvl 6."

"I first played World of Tanks more than ten years ago. Most of my complaints about the game back then are still true to this day - unlocking stuff can feel very grindy, the learning curve is tremendous, and the community is full of literal raging children and drunks who make muting team chat a wise choice. And yet, with the 2.0 update, and tons of free stuff thrown my way for having an old account, I can't help but find myself wanting to play every single day. While tank-based combat in games like Battlefield can feel pretty one-dimensional, WoT's physics based damage modeling makes good aim secondary to good decision-making and map and tank knowledge and awareness. Some elements of the game, such as having a fully-upgraded, crewed, and supplied tank, can be rapidly accelerated by spending real $$$ on the game, and do make playing the game significantly more enjoyable. So less pay-to-win and more pay-to-have-fun than others in the F2P space. Don't get too hung up on the silliness of the TI-III tanks and their go-kart experience, the game definitely gets more fun the higher you go on the tech tree, for better or worse. Finally, this is a game for relatively patient people - if you blindly rush into combat every game, you'll be literally bankrupted and forced to spend money to keep playing like a goon."

"Am I good at WoT? NO. Am I way better in WoTB+ WoWS and prefer playing them too? PERHAPS. Do I still love this game? KINDA Do YOU want to run around maps in hunks of steel with boom sticks on them while getting outspotted by seemingly everything and getting gunned down 40 seconds into the match? Well boy is this the game for you! Suffer through a horrible grind with a UI thats been cluttered for over 10 years! Enjoy battles with your teammates that will either push too far and get turned to wrecks or never advance past the halfway point of the map! Truly a joy."

"Game feels worse now than 10 years ago. What was once an simple arcade experience is now visually bogged down with daily challenges, campaign missions and premium tank special offers, that simple match to match motivation to grind xp and currency while listening to Mr Creepypasta vids is simply gone. Tl;dr I wish GuP dream tank match had a PC port."
