"Good game, but the grind is very heavy and still has aggressive monetization. From 2026 april there is also a ban phase in Onslaught mode, which means new players who just farmed their first T10 tank, just got banned...Imagine Counterstrike where you need to grind every single gun, ammo cost ingame currency, perk cost ingame currency and now you can even ban guns which you dont want to play against, (instead of adapting your strategy). But WG couldnt even implement a banning phase right: if both teams ban the same tank, only that 1 tank is getting banned(1 ban gets wasted), leaving both teams in darkness just like before the update, as we still dont know what other team picked until we spot them ingame. This game is nightmare for F2P new players. This game should have stopped at T8 or T9, but we are at T11 already. Game should have been kept as simple WW2 tank FPS, but its a hero shooter now. If i unlock every tank and playing on highest level, i cant play Tiger 1 or T34 anymore, which made me trying out his game in the first place. 75% of tanks are different and there is not even a consistency on tech lines, they dont teach you how to play the tank or what to expect. Reminds me of Warframe where a lot of half baked ideas go into the game just because other games have it, not because its needed. The crew system is just an other annoying thing to drive you crazy. The tiered system progression and matchmaking is hilariously bad game design, but gets away with it because its WW2 tank theme. I remember in 2011 when i first played this game, premium ammo costed real money and stopped playing after 1 month, now i"

"As someone who hasn't played this game for a very long time, all i can say is the following: Pros: 1. The models are very detailed and look really nice, so the visuals of the tanks themselves are top notch even compared to others in the same genre (WT and whatnot). 2. the damage models are not too bad when in other games such as WT they can one-tap you regardless of your tank (talking about you, assault arcade mode I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ HATE THAT) but the special ammunition for tanks are abismally expensive (paying over 1k PER BULLET IS CRAZY) when you only get about 500 coins per battle... Cons: the only game mode is direct combat, there are no other types of gameplay such as defense, conquest or assault maps like other titles of the genre. And there are not many players connected so you will have lots of bots that can snipe you accross the map and hit your tank with surgical precision even when you cant directly see them, since they are not human players... Also something that i completely hate about this game: YOU ONLY GET ONE STUPID TANK PER GAME... so if you die, that's it, no respawn, no extra tanks, nothing... just one tank and you're done... i hate that with a burning passion. And that is my review. Play if you like it."

"Fun enough tank driving, but you won't win any missions. No joke, you can play 20 missions back to back and lose them all, and there goes all the "money" you accumulated through training missions. you can't upgrade, you can't resupply, you can't repair your tanks. Very frustrating. Moreover it takes 90 seconds to load a battle, then another 30 weird arbitrary seconds to wait for the battle to start... and then you last 30 seconds before you die with 4 or 5 other tanks just pelting you, and then 30 seconds to get back to the menu"
